Job Overview

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer with hands-on experience in developing and deploying real-time industrial vision solutions using Python, OpenCV, FastAPI, Basler, and Cognex cameras.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong practical experience in Python + OpenCV + FastAPI + Basler/Cognex cameras + YOLO will be preferred.

Note: This is a hands-on engineering role. Candidates should have experience building and integrating actual Computer Vision solutions rather than only theoretical or academic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Computer Vision applications using Python and OpenCV.
• Integrate and operate Basler and Cognex industrial cameras.
• Implement real-time image acquisition, processing, and analysis pipelines.
• Develop and integrate YOLO / Deep Learning models for object and defect detection.
• Build and maintain FastAPI-based REST APIs for Computer Vision and AI services.
• Collect, prepare, annotate, and manage image datasets for model training.
• Train, test, evaluate, and optimize Computer Vision models.
• Configure camera parameters including exposure, gain, trigger, FPS, and resolution.
• Debug camera integration, image-processing, API, and model-performance issues.
• Integrate Computer Vision solutions with existing software and industrial systems.
• Deploy, test, and maintain Computer Vision applications in real-world environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cognex VisionPro.
• Experience in industrial inspection, sorting, manufacturing, or automation.
• Knowledge of PLC communication / Modbus TCP.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA, or GPU-based inference.
• Experience with Docker and Linux.
• Experience deploying Computer Vision applications in production environments.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision / AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Good hands-on experience with OpenCV and image processing.
• Practical experience with Basler and/or Cognex industrial cameras.
• Experience with Basler Pylon SDK and/or Cognex VisionPro/SDK.
• Strong understanding of YOLO and Deep Learning-based Computer Vision.
• Experience with FastAPI and REST API development.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of object detection, classification, segmentation, and image preprocessing.
• Experience with image datasets, annotation, model training, and evaluation.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Git is preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation, PLC communication, or Modbus/TCP will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, NVIDIA Jetson/GPU inference is a plus.
