PM Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced PM / Procurement Manager to manage procurement operations, vendor sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory planning, and material availability. The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable vendor networks, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, packing materials, and other required items, controlling procurement costs, and maintaining optimum inventory levels. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably ED ERP, is essential for effective procurement and inventory management in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely material procurement.
• Plan inventory and material requirements as per production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Stores, and Finance departments.
• Monitor stock levels, pending orders, and supplier delivery commitments.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Use ED ERP for purchase orders, inventory tracking, material planning, and MIS reports.

• Graduate in any discipline; B.Com, B.Sc., B.Pharm, or MBA preferred.
• Relevant experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing, supplier development, and negotiation.
• Good understanding of inventory control, stock management, and material planning.
• Hands-on knowledge of ED ERP is preferred; other ERP experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, purchase documentation, and MIS reporting.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
