Service Engineer

Dowson Technology is seeking a skilled and highly technical Service Engineer to join our Oppo Service Center. In this role, you will be the core of our technical support team, responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues in mobile devices. We are looking for someone dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs that ensure long-term device performance and high customer satisfaction. 

• Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair mobile phone hardware issues, including intricate tasks like safely changing out displays, batteries, motherboards, and other internal components.
• Software Troubleshooting: Perform software diagnostics, operating system flashing, and device updates to resolve software-related issues.
• Quality Control: Maintain a strict standard of repair quality to actively reduce and minimize the number of repeat repairs (re-repair rate) for the same device.
• Documentation & Allied Works: Accurately maintain logs and records of all incoming devices, parts consumed, and repair status. Handle all allied technical tasks related to mobile servicing. 

• Experience: Prior hands-on experience in mobile repairing is mandatory.
• Certifications: Any formal certification, diploma, or technical course in mobile repairing is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of smartphone architecture, micro-soldering (if applicable), and software flashing tools.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering firsttime resolution. 

• Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: ₹16,000 to ₹21,000 per month (Commensurate with practical experience and technical knowledge).
• Statutory Benefits: Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI).
• Variable Pay: Performance-based incentives (linked to productivity and reduction of repeat repairs).
